加西BC省遭遇 棕熊的机会与风险

BC省因为三文鱼回流从太平洋带来的巨大营养和能量， 是加拿大棕熊分布比较多的地区。为户外活动人士，及猎友安全。
老上我，在灌醉了联邦环保高官以后， 得到了相关资料。现以最新 “上氏猎物评估/排行榜” 无偿奉献本网看关大人们如下：

1：大分布：7区 〉〉6区〉〉4区〉〉5区， 温哥华岛（1区之14，15）Knight / Kingcome 最近有报道。仅非沙河谷地区，与东南角的8区，尚未报道。
2：区内之排名 ：7-38， Omineca 地区 最多， 其次是Peace River 地区 的 7-52，> Omineca 7-39 , > Peace River 地区的7- 53 〉7-51 〉7-40 〉7- 30
6 区， Spatizi 20 〉Mount Edziza 6- 21，>Skeena 6-17 > Skeena 6-07 > Tesilin 6-25 〉Skeena 6-22
整个 4区， 5 区， 3区 数量上 就比北方的 7， 6 少几个数量级别了 。 即使如此 ， 也不可调以轻心，因为这些地方供养棕熊的条件， 比较差，饥饿的情况会迫使其饥则人来食 ！

Two Vancouver Island men were attacked by a bear while they camped near Port Alberni Wednesday morning, the RCMP says.
The two men, aged 47 and 57, from Sooke, B.C., were camping in an area known as Taylor Flats at the west end of Sproat Lake.
"The bear initially attacked the 57-year-old male who was sleeping in a lean-to type shelter. His 47-year-old friend, sleeping nearby in a tent, was alerted to the attack and was able to fight off the bear," said Sgt. Kevin Murray.
Both men received extensive claw mark wounds in the attack, but were able to get to the West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni for treatment. But the 57-year-old also sustained an injury to his skull and was later transported to Nanaimo for surgery.
Police said the men had been camping in the secluded area for a number of days and had encountered the bear in and around their camp on the first day. But they said they don't know what, if anything, provoked the attack.
The bear is believed to weigh about 150 pounds, said police.
Murray, of the Port Alberni RCMP, advised the public to be extra cautious in the area.
"Police and conservation want to remind people visiting the backcountry to be extra vigilant in protecting themselves and their camp from wildlife encounters," he said.

到海拔4800米的雪域高原上采虫草的藏族汉子老桑义西，在山上突遭黑熊袭击，这名37岁的藏族汉子与熊搏斗10分钟后，大吼几声将黑熊吓跑。而熊口逃生的老桑义西脸部多处骨架“坍塌”、右眼睑“丢失”，浑身撕裂伤达40多处。

　　6月29日，西京医院整形外科将为这位藏族汉子进行类似“拼积木”般的罕见“拼脸”手术。

　　　雪山采药被黑熊撕破脸

　　昨日下午，记者在西京医院住院一部病房见到老桑义西，浑身伤痕累累的他向记者描述与黑熊搏斗的一幕时仍显得心有余悸。

　　6月20日下午4时许，家住青海玉树自治州的37岁藏族汉子老桑义西，和往常一样独自爬到家对面海拔4800米的雪山采名贵药材虫草。在山腰间，老桑义西刚坐下准备歇口气继续赶路时，突然眼前一团黑影迎面扑来。

　　他抬头一看，面前竟然有一大一小两只黑熊。其中一只足有90多公斤重的大黑熊凶猛地向老桑义西发起攻击。尚未等老桑义西做出任何反应，黑熊张开的双爪瞬间便将他拍倒在地，紧接着一口咬在他的脸上，一块脸皮当场被撕开。疼痛难忍的老桑义西奋力还击，在与黑熊长达10分钟的生死搏斗中，老桑义西猛吼起来，凶猛的黑熊好似受到惊吓匆匆窜入密林中。老桑义西总算保住了性命，但整个脸部已经完全毁容，全身多处被撕裂，血流如注。大脑尚有意识的老桑义西，挣扎着爬起来，从衣服上撕下一条布包住伤口，并大声呼救。半个小时后，他被闻讯赶来的村民紧急送往当地医院抢救。

　　因为病情十分严重，当地医院简单处理伤口后，老桑义西的哥哥四处借钱，辗转千里来到西京医院求治。

　　“造脸”过程就像拼积木

　　西京医院整形外科舒茂国副教授讲，老桑义西来到医院时，经检查，其全身40多处软组织有撕裂伤，尤以面部最为严重。右侧眼睑大部分缺失，导致眼球暴露，伤口发炎流脓；颌面部多处粉碎性骨折，面部轮廓塌陷，支撑脸部的整个“骨支架”完全碎裂，面部严重毁容，生命垂危。

　　情况危急，医院立即组织专家教授大会诊，反复讨论病情后，最终制定了周密的手术方案：首先为老桑义西实施类似“拼积木”般的“拼脸手术”，“重塑”面部骨骼三维立体结构，恢复面部的对称性和完整性。据介绍，患者的脸部遭熊袭击30多处骨头碎裂，而且几乎所有的断骨和碎片都不在原位，手术过程中，医生将切开面部肌肉找到碎骨后，要像“拼积木”那样将一根根或一片片碎骨拼接在一起，并用钛板合钉逐个固定，以此恢复患者原来容貌。

　　　术后脸部各项功能会恢复

　　“患者脸部不规则骨折，加之人的脸部神经、血管很密集，要想切开面部肌肉将碎骨拼接一起，又要确保神经、血管不受到损伤，这样复杂的‘造脸术’对手术医生无疑是一个极大的挑战。”整形外科舒茂国副教授说，目前他们主要为患者进行抗感染治疗，如果患者感染得到控制，营养状况调节理想的情况下，经过术前评估，他们将“全科室总动员”为老桑义西实施“造脸”术。术中不出现大出血和呼吸阻塞，手术顺利的话，预计三到四个小时就能完成。

　　“术后，患者还须挺过心理关和感染关，接下来的面部修复术就能够顺利进行了。”舒茂国说。

　　据了解，6月29日，高难度的“拼脸术”一期手术将正式开始，3个月或者半年后，将为其再行第二次和第三次手术，主要是眼睑、鼻泪管等再造术。手术一旦成功，老桑义西脸部各项功能会逐渐恢复。

However, it could have very easily come to a grisly end after one of the bears charged at this group of tourists as they sat in camping chairs - and there was not a thing they could do about it.

The group of 10 had no option but to sit perfectly still as the fearsome bear bounded over to them before circling their camp and coming in for a closer inspection.

At one point the bear even sniffed the hood of one of the tourists as he sat in his chair.
