Non Tidal Fraser-
The following fisheries restrictions are enforced to protect endangered upper fraser and Thompson coho.

Effective 00:01 hours Thursday, September 4, 2008 until monday October 6, 2008, in the non-tidal portion of the Fraser River, from the cpr bridge at Mission, upstream to a line drawn between two triangular white boundary signs located on opposite sides of the fraser approximately 3 km upstream of the confluence with the Harrison river (downstream of Jesperson's Bar): you may not fish for coho salmon, you may not fish for sockeye salmon and you may not use bait when fishing for salmon. Effective september 4th, until oct 6, 2008, from the boundary sign 3 km upstream of the confluence of the Harrison river, upstream to the hwy #1 bridge at Hope you may not fish for salmon. Effective September 6, 2008 until further notice from the hwy #1 bridge at Hope upstream you may not fish for salmon.
